Popular Ghanaian music producer Mohammed Awal Alhassan, known in showbiz circles as Possigee has narrated how some of the works he did for popular musicians were rejected and returned during a time he was depressed and couldn’t concentrate on work.

The award winning producer has for a while now been telling the story of the kind of challenges and struggles he had to go through to get to where he is now. All in an attempt to encourage young and upcoming producers not to relent and give up on their dreams no matter the challenges.

In a Facebook post, he wrote,

“It got to a time all my mixes and engineering wasn’t going through because of the state of my depressed mind. Many works I did were returned including MR. Eazy ft Mugeez. But Alhamdulilah I never gave up on what I wanted to achieve and low and behold, Allah fulfilled his promise.”

Possigee went on to encourage young and upcoming producers and recounted how he later won the VGMA producer of the year two years in a row. One with his work on Adina’s ‘too late’ banger and the second Teephlow’s ‘Phlowducation’.

Possigee in his music production career has worked for many big wigs such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, R2Bees, Wizkid among others.
